課程概述

貧窮是國家最早介入的社會福利領域,可追溯至16世紀。幾百年來僅管經濟發展已不可同日而語,但貧窮問題仍在,因其界定已更為多元,各國介入貧窮的策略與作法也相當不同。
本課程涵蓋教師講授、文獻閱讀與實務觀訪三個部分,期讓同學透過閱讀、討論與實務接觸,深入掌握貧窮與社會救助議題。 

課程目標
1.瞭解貧窮的肇因、概念與界定
2.瞭解社會救助體系的概念與制度運作
3.瞭解現行社會救助的挑戰與困境
 
課程要求
1.每人閱讀2本碩博士論文,並做書面摘要(2頁以內)與口頭報告。
2.每人閱讀中文期刊論文2篇
3.每人閱讀英文齊開論文3篇
4.每人完成實務觀訪報告一份
